Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Tribeez Social ("Tribeez", "we", "us") runs www.tribeezsocial.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you fill in a form on our website or a lead form in one of our ads (for example on Facebook or Instagram), we collect the details you give us: your name, email address (usually your work email), phone number, company, job title, and campaign budget, plus anything you write in your message. Our website also uses cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use the site and how our ads perform.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, send you a proposal or follow up about our services, and improve our website and ads. Our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in our customer relationship management system, HubSpot, and in our business email. Access is limited to the Tribeez team who handle your enquiry. Some of these providers may store data outside your country, and they protect it with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires.
We don't sell your data
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run our business (such as HubSpot, Google and Meta), or when the law requires us to.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. You can also object to how we use it or withdraw your consent at any time, and you can unsubscribe from our marketing emails whenever you like. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) or your local data protection authority.
